United State of Terror: Is Drone War Fair?

Ad Nauseum.

I just received an e-mail from Agora Financial. It's a newsletter called the 5 min. Forecast. It's never 5 minutes, nor does it ever forecast anything. At the end of it it informed me that:

"The 5 Min. Forecast is a paid subscriber only, daily e-mail service brought to you by the publishers at Agora Financial, L.L.C. You are receiving Agora Financial's 5 Min. Forecast because you are a paid subscriber to one of Agora Financial's paid publications."

No, I'm not.

I'm told over and over again that Subaru is made with Love ... it most certainly isn't.

BREAKING NEWS: How, when that same banner has been displayed for the last four hours?! Insisting it's Breaking News is in and of itself Fake News.

Air Freshener does exactly the opposite of what the term implies: it sprays MORE particulates into the air around you, it never takes them out. You don't "freshen" something by introducing yet more adulterants into the mix, you muddy it. It may smell better for awhile, but they can never be content with telling you what their products actually do, they have to lie to your face in the very description of the product, and there's no on to tell them they Can't. And no one gives a damn, either.

The entire industry that's currently having conniption fits over the platforms they use to publish their "Free Speech" (this one being an example ... Google changed their algorithms, so I get practically no readers now (not as though people were burning up their bandwidth to read me before)) is totally dependent on Paid speech called advertising in which they can and do lie about everything and anything and it is where Caveat Emptor reigns supreme, yet the content is still considered by the readers thereof as "News"?

But all it has ever claimed to be is "content". We should content ourselves with that.

That Google changed the algorithm to stop sending readers to this blog has nothing to do with its content. Like everything in America, it has everything to do with money. It is because I don't generate any ad revenues, nothing I write has ever been, nor have I ever claimed it to be, "News". If anything written here is new to you, that's fine, but it's not news. I used to, and sometimes still do, try to link to those facts I thought perhaps weren't considered as such, so the readers could see my sources, but, as I said, I'm not a jounralist, and it can take more time to research where I read a fact as it takes to write the damn blog, so I often dispense with that formality: my work is posted online, you can google it as easily as I can. I will never purposely print an untruth, and if I do have to google something, because I'm not sure of the exact wording or statistic, having googled it already, why make you do it, so then I'll always publish the link to it, but otherwise, this isn't news. Info Wars isn't' News, and if some politician thinks :

tweet

Then it is up to us to ask ourselves, "Has he never watched a political campaign?!" Does he expect 2-Facedbook and Youthlube to take down every politicians' site? Starting with the President's whose sole purpose seems to be to do exactly what he's complaining Infowars does? No president has exerted more effort to tear the nation apart domestically and tear the nation down in internationall forums than Trumplestiltskin, so why shouldn't his Twitter account be shut down?

It's the Political Parties that comprise the rest of Iceberg of hate and lies of which the sites he names are the tip, and every political campaign publishes lies and hate for the specific reason to tear our nation apart:

Do you think this ad was used for any other reason than to make voters Quayle?

The ad industry's mantra, never more so than in political ads, is right out of Joseph Garbbles' playbook (I might have goebbled the spelling on that):

"If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth" (That's a lie. That's a lie. That's a lie.).

As you know, the vehicle that produces and propagates yet bears no responsibility for lie after lie after lie is the Advertising industry. Yet the only person I ever hear state this most obvious of facts is Noam Chomsky (See? This is one of those cases where I'm using my own reading and gleaned knowledge to state what I believe to be true, I'm not  now going to start looking up exactly when and where Mr. Chomsky pointed this out (which he's done ad nauseum ... sorry, I couldn't help it) if you wish to do that, that's why we have google). Although I think Ralph Nader recently had something to say about it as well.

But you won't see the MSM say a thing about it. Why? Because they're Censored. By their Corporate sponsors. ALL censorship is Corporate when the government is by the people and Corporations are deemed by the Corporate-bought Supreme Court to be people. Is that really confusing? Is it really so hard to grasp that when money is declared by that same corrupt body of nine Kept fossils to be "Speech", that it is never Free? How can it be? It's been turned into an oxymoron: how, under any conceivable definition, is money ever Free?

For example, if I write something about which I personally wonder: "Gee, is that too incendiary?", I can always console myself with the fact, "Hello!? No one's going to read it anyways, it isn't like the peasants are going to be revolting because you said the Fed threw the economy into a tailspin to feather their own nests and increase their own, surreptitiously wielded, Power" ... somehow the fact that both of those are well, facts, we're expected to believe (and mostly do) is a mere coincidence).

But the entire Propagation Industry, whether radio, TV, Internet, or newspapers and magazines, don't have such qualms. They all run on the fumes of bare-faced lies called advertising where sponsors can make whatever claim they wish, make offers they have no intention of honoring and use verbiage specifically designed by con men and pored over by phalanxes of lawyers to deceive their own customers yet not be held responsible when the suckers complain after they nibble at the bait and get bitten. To get consumers to fall for a line of bull hook line and sinker its the Holy Grail of the completely accepted advertising industry, yet it's the CONtent that you're worried about? Unless by the Con tent you mean the one housing Madison Avenues' seminar in the woods for admen, the content is what readers go there for, voluntarily, I thought.

Creating the "illusion of Truth" commands more national resources than "Defense" (the ultimate in Illusion of Truth enterprises, Where Offense is named Defense. I can't help but remember how SDI was marketed as a "defense Shield", yet the country of Turkey just recently purchased Russian-made Defensive anti-missile systems and the State Department had a conniption, putting the lie to the Reagan-era propaganda that SDI was not an offensive (morally as well as militarily) capability) . But it doesn't just chew up more resources than even the bloated giant blood sweat and tear-sucking parasite we call  the military, but of every other industry: Banking, manufacturing, Insurance, you name it, advertising beats them all hands down. Yet it's only when they wish to shut up a loudmouth asshole that anyone notices that Google and Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are in the Censoring business? Are we really all that ad-dle-brained? (alright alright, pun intended ... Please have mercy, I mean how could I let that one go by?) YES! It's so much (as I've argued about autos, and now computers) a part of the landscape, we don't see it any more (Get Lasik surgery, Buy Optic-clean for your lenses, get Sharper vision eyeglasses, Ban roll on, or the ultimate in ad-speak, or at least the most hilarious, Oil-free Oil of Olay (I kid you knot, as it's in a tie with scented deodorant (the ambiguity is built into the word itself. De-odorant.   It'd make more scents to call it re-odorant)).

Beauty Fluid? WTF does that even mean?

We are constantly surrounded by purposely contrived deception making us oblivious to the fact that there's any such thing as the truth left. There is no such thing as beauty fluid.  Nor can there ever be oil-free oil. Yet nowadays, in these times of extremely powerful monopolistically-controlled media, there are less strictures against such nonsensical claims than in the days when the snake-oil salesmen would pawn Oil of Vitriol as a chemical peel. There's currently an ad running with the nightly news that invites young women to have their flab suctioned out "safely". Yeah, and bulimia is good for your heart. Weight gain? Throw it up! How? Alimentary my Dear, with Dr. Watson-approved Ipecac.

If there should indeed be any censorship, it should not be directed at content, which the polity should be expected to judge for themselves, that's why it's published, to get us to think, the rest is up to us. Censorship should be directed where it can do the most good: at the claims of advertisers who spread lies and disinformation, not as something they really believe, but as deliberately designed Illusions of Truth to persuade you to take actions inimical to your own well-being for the sole purpose of taking money out of your pockets and putting it in theirs ... as they used to say (but which seems to have been completely forgotten) when some outrageous claim was made:

"Well, consider the source."

The Fable of the Bees.

We're all busy little bees, full of stings, making honey ...
aren't we, Honey?

The Crumbling Hive.

A spacious hive well stocked with bees,
Accommodates many in Luxury and Ease;
It's mostly known for its Laws and Arms,
Manufactured smartphones and drones in swarms.

Once seen as the Great Nursery
Of Sciences and of Industry
No bees had better Government,
More Fickleness, nor less Content.

They weren't mere slaves to Tyranny,
Nor subjects to the whims of Kings
Their will inscribed in Perpetuity:
a wild Republican Democracy.

These insects looked like human beings,
Were always from some peril fleeing,
Zoomzoomzoom in everlasting flight
To outrun Death and eternal Night.

Vast numbers thronged this fearful hive
Such numbers are what make it thrive,
Hellbent on manufactory
Stoking each other's vanity;
With other multitudes employed
To see their handiwork destroyed.

These own stocks and take no pains
Expect of business to make them gains
All trade and stations harbor Cheats
No Industry's without Deceit:

Physicians value Fame and Wealth
Above their dying patients' health
Of their own skill, the greater part
Is stupefied, dulled, devoid of art,
Grave pensive looks and rude behavior
All give the Pharmacists good favor.

With formal smile and forced "How do Ye?",
They make empty gestures toward Family,
For which their greatest curse is,
They earn the impertinence of Nurses.

But you can't blame doctors for crystal meth
nor Breaking Bad's merchant of Death,
It's we named Vice ingenuity,
Made of addiction an Industry.

A perfect example to illustrate
a lesson that we've learned too late,
Our boasted freedom goes hand in hand
With private ownership of land.

Thus the Virtue that claims one man as brother
Of Necessity vilifies the Other,
Which lends to husband wife and daughter
a Hand in all of mankind's Slaughter.

Auto-Idolatry: An Instance of Instant's Carma's Gonna Get You.

Molt in Metal
See the USA

Auto-idolatry and the carnage it brings
Screeching tires, black streaks on black tar
The shattering of glass and the exhilarating,
fear-inspiring sound of the crunch of metal-on-metal.
Blood and gasoline mix on asphalt
Gushed from tanks, from glass shards embedded in flesh
Fluids that fueled spilled onto a roadbed not designed
for rest,
Transverse blockage of traverse with travesty.

Bumper to Bumper Cars.
Carousel

A perfect second, a nano second prior,
the auto mobilized putting on airs
Floating on tired cushions of inflated rubber.
So blase
So bored.
empty-headed,
danger ignored.
Impudent invulnerability
is felt
Introversion's the usual
result
Imperious we become
  Impervious as a
city skyline.
Blind deaf and dumb.
Blend a pinch of churlishness,
a dollop of nonchalance,
Tincture it with a drop of
malice: on auto pilot you become a
Hep feline.

Mechanical Animal.

Latest Model Citizen.

The beauty and sleek aerodynamic lines of  molded molten mass propelled through
the same mixture of gases we inspire, then expire 'til the day we do the same
speeding us through a blur of nature, the only reality plays immoveable
the hot top we coldly traverse, mileage measured by white lines perfectly spaced
Like sprockets on reels of film, our passage is measured, any cessation of movement
easily becomes fatal, too long exposed and you burn, baby, burn.
